It seems not so long after the new batch of Winter Transfers were made available things started to go a little wrong for those playing FIFA 16. However, from 11pm PT/7am UK a 5-hour FUT maintenance began.
Over on the official FIFA Twitter page they did report that FUT would be down for maintenance starting for the above times, and they do prompt followers to stay tuned for updates.
They also say once the FUT maintenance is completed anyone having issues with connection will have to start and play a match to fix that problem.
Many players have taken to Twitter to respond; one said “Whenever I try to make a change to my squad, I lose connection to the servers, so I can’t change anything. Help” This is when @EASPORTSFIFA replied with, “Very sorry for the trouble. We are currently looking into the issue. Thanks for your patience.”
