In the last 10 weeks, contestants have been battling it out on one of Britain’s favourite entertainment singing shows “X Factor.” The seventh show has now come to a close crowning it’s winner of 2010, and online social networking site Twitter has been kept busy with fans comments. Public votes were counted and in a show that eventually saw the last two standing “Rebecca Ferguson” and “Matt Cardle” singing their hearts out, Matt was declared the victor!
In the last few weeks, “Twitter” has been inundated with X Factor fans tweeting their favourite acts or showing their disapproval over alleged failure of live performances. In tonight’s show, as Metro reported, Cardle sang Biffy Clyro’s “When We Collide,” which captured the entire audience. Tweets have been coming in thick and fast including the good with the bad.
Jocurtis88 tweeted “Love Matt Cardle. That win was well deserved and proof that people from Essex are generally brilliant.” Another avid fan said, “Congrats Matt Cardle worthy winner.”
Some unfortunately did not share the same view. Celebrity blogger “Perez Hilton,” tweeted, “Matt Cardle will never have a career in America. Truth! Does Lee DeWyze have a career in the UK? No!” Cardle’s mentor and judge “Dannii Minogue,” was in a state of shock and as entertainmentwise.com reported, she has now broken Cheryl Cole’s domination.
