At OSM we generally report on various different types of devices in the world of technology and that includes projectors. Some of the recent devices that we have cast our eyes on include the NEC M300Xs & M300WS, the Pico mini-projector at MWC and of course the InFocus IN146 with HD and 3D output.
Now we have a different one to talk to you about and it’s made by Vivtek Qumi, it’s an HD LED projector and it’s shipping now, we also have the price for you. We learned of the device through Slashgear’s Shane McGlaun who reports that this is an HD and 3D ready pocket projector.
The device is priced at $499 and is available from a number of online retailers, the device has a weight of 1.4 pounds and it connects using mini-HDMI and VGA with a component connection and a mini-jack audio output.
The measurements of the device are 6.3-inches W x 1.2-inches H x 3.9-inches D and the LED light source will keep going for an estimated 30,000 hours of operation. You can read more about it from the press release on BusinessWire by clicking on this link.
