We have some news for those of you who have been anticipating the release date for Microsoft’s Windows 8 OS for PCs. According to Mashable, Microsoft has announced on their dutch website via a blog post that Windows 8 is in the works; however it will not be ready for another 2 years.

News has filtered through today, that Microsoft’s Chief Software Architect “Ray Ozzie,” has stepped down from his current position and will be retiring in the next few months. Just under two weeks ago the manual for the Microsoft Kinect for the Xbox 360 was leaked, which revealed potential distance problems. Since then there has been the worry that the motion sensor would not be able to track those sitting or lying down, thankfully this issue has now been eradicated.
