The Nintendo 3DS has been one of the most anticipated devices of the year so far and mostly for the right reasons. In the run-up to its release, we reported on how its facial recognition will struggle with beards and glasses, how ASDA was the cheapest place to buy it in the UK and also the first official commercial in the US.
There are various measures in place where Nintendo are trying to catch out those users who thought they may be able to use the R4 cards to download and play games for free, but we are yet to hear much about the OS being hacked to run homebrew and what the implications will be. We are sure to find out soon as the Nintendo 3DS has had the first image of homebrew leaked, this means it’s been hacked already!
We know that using the R4 card will basically turn your console into a non-returnable brick rendering it unusable. Has Nintendo been clever enough to put something in place to prevent their new 3D console from being hacked? I for one hope not, as there could be some really good exploitations that could be used with the 3D camera featuring on the device.
What do you guys think, will we start seeing the console exploited? Will we see what this little bad boy can really do?
