MySpace, the second largest social networking site is now making changes to it’s current interface, as well as other features which will take place from now until the end of next month. Based in California, MySpace at the end of June this year had seen some 66 million subscribers.
The new MySpace changes will include a new interface, homepage, profile changes to the new Topic Pages with the hope of making the current social network into a more “Social entertainment destination.” During the last few months, MySpace has already undergone homepage color changes from blue to white, the navigation bar made simpler to find features quickly, accessibility to MySpace Stream in the hope of making the site look more like Facebook, Profile 2.0 upgraded to Profile 3.0, new photo section incorporated and more activity integration included with Twitter and Facebook accounts. November will see the release of the new mobile experience.
MySpace will now be concentrating on the younger generation 13-15 year olds with a new goal of becoming “The leading entertainment destination that is socially powered by the passions of fans and curators.” Mashable has reported on a collection of videos and screenshots to give you some indication of what to expect from the new MySpace.
