As most of you will now be aware, Steve Jobs held an emergency Apple press conference last Friday, which was purposely called to address the reception issues that iPhone 4 users have been experiencing since its launch. The answer – to offer free bumper cases to all iPhone 4 owners.
However, some people may not necessarily like the idea of covering their beautiful new phone with a bumper or any other kind of case. According to Christina Warren at mashable.com, that is where the other option comes in – the new (and inexpensive) Antenn-aid!!
Antenn-aids have been described by the seller as “custom vinyl sticker[s] for your iPhone 4.” The Antenn-aid – which looks a bit like a Band-Aid – is designed to be placed over the lower left corner of the antenna. Although the seller states it’s for entertainment purposes only, it might just work.
The bandages are reportedly being sold in packs of six, and will cost users $4.99. Each Antenn-aid is a different color, so you can even color-coordinate. I’m not sure that I would want to stick something like that on my iPhone 4, but I guess it’s just everybody’s preference.
What do you think of Antenn-aids?
