When Google+ started it was one of those social networks that were new, fresh and one that caused a buzz, we remember getting in there and sending out invites to those that wanted in. It was a social site that was invite-only and now it is growing to another level.
A recent survey by eMarketer has revealed something very interesting indeed, 2,500 men and women in the US were part of this survey and Facebook and Google+ are at the top of the chart with the most number of account holders in the States.
Facebook is at the top of the list but we want to stick with Twitter and Google+.
When the men were surveyed it revealed that 15.5 percent use Twitter and 24.5 percent are Google+ users, the percentages were a lot different when women were surveyed, the results showed that 26 percent have Google+ accounts and only 17 percent have Twitter accounts.
The laptop and desktop remained at the top when users went on their preferred social sites; the smartphone was not too far behind. It was around half of both women and men accessing their social sites via the smartphone and 32% of men and 21% of women used a tablet.
There are many social networking sites out there and yes we have even opened an account on a few, but this does not mean we use them on a regular basis. We use the likes of Pinterest, Linked In, Google+, Twitter and Facebook but many users tend to stick with one with many users not even using once set up.
What social network do you use the most? Please let us know what one and what country you live in please.
