The Glasgow Commonwealth Games opening kicks off tonight at 8PM and road closures and modelling will occur whilst the games are underway. There will be 14 Commonwealth venues and these will take place in Greater Glasgow, 1 in Carnoustie and 1 in Edinburgh, temporary road restrictions will apply to traffic in Glasgow.

Barry Buddon, Cathkin Braes, Celtic Park, the Cycle Road Race and Cycle time Trial are both road events, Athletes’ Village, Emirates Arena, Glasgow Green, Hampden Park, Ibrox Stadium, Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls and Live Site, Marathon (Road Events), Merchant City, Royal Commonwealth Pool, Scotstoun Sports Campus, SECC Precinct, Strathclyde Park and Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
Whilst the games are underway getting to certain areas will be a little difficult than usual, there are also parking restrictions in certain areas, but if you follow the PDF Maps above you will know where.
