The ever-expanding location-based social networking service Foursquare, has recently announced two new brand partnerships. The first one is with music-oriented TV network VH1, and the second is with national restaurant chain Chili’s.
According to virtualworldsnews.com, the VH1 partnership will introduce the VH1 Fanatic Badge, which users can unlock by following VH1 on Foursquare and checking in at concerts. They will then be automatically entered into VH1’s Unlock it to Rock it Sweepstakes.
The VH1 Unlock it to Rock it Sweepstakes will run from July 22nd to October 10th, 2010. VH1 on Foursquare will “check-in” at major music venues, and feature a variety of performers and VH1 reality TV stars providing music tips for the fans.
Meanwhile, the Chili’s promotion will make every Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurant location nationwide into a check-in venue, where users who check-in will then receive a free order of chips and salsa for a limited time. The offer is valid to everyone who checks in.
