Google.com is one of the biggest online search engines available, and with the 100th anniversary of Father’s Day today June 20 2010, Google’s homepage has incorporated a special logo (Doodle) just like every other year.
This year the logo is made up of ties and bows that uniquely spell out the word Google, and when clicked by users will automatically take you to the search page for Father’s Day, giving you a history into the day, Father’s Day quotes and suggestions of gift ideas for that special person. According to PR News, listed right at the top of the results is Wikipedia.
Although Mother’s Day is still seen by everyone as being more important than Father’s Day, our Father’s need to be recognised for everything that they do. Both days are becoming increasingly more commercial. We must remember that it is not just about celebrating our Dad’s but remembering our forefathers.
For this Father’s Day, how are you spending it with your Dad? To read more about this check out PR News
