eBay has today announced that is has released version 2.0 of its main iPhone app. The new version appeared on the app store last Friday and is available for download today.
The updated app allows users to do their business as they normally would on eBay’s flagship auction site. Buying and selling is just the start as a scanning feature is also available for product barcodes when comparison shopping. On the original app these two capabilities were only independently accessible via other apps which were eBay selling and RedLaser.
If you want a closer look at the app then we have embedded a video for you below courtesy of Mashable. The new eBay app for the iPhone really does look like it has the whole package and seems to be well worth a download. Especially with the new RedLaser barcode scanning you can check the value of your belongings that you are thinking of shifting. With the new app you can pretty much buy, sell and browse without the single click of a keyboard.
