CTIA Wireless 2010 is now under full steam and the initial piece of major news is the announcement of a spanking new Android handset from Motorola. It should be available sometime in the summer and will be called the i1.
The carrier will be Sprint and their lucky customers are having a wild time with all the new handsets being offered recently with the HTC Supersonic also on its way. Going back to the i1 though it will apparently be the first Android Push-To-Talk phone in the world.
It will also include a 3.1-inch touch screen, WiFi, Adobe Flash, and a 5-megapixel camera. Add to all this the Opera Mini 5.1 browser and 2GB of removable memory and it all makes a nice package. The only drawback seems to be it comes with Android 1.5 instead of 2.1.
