News has been pointing to an October 25th release date for the highly anticipated Battlefield 3, unfortunately we’ve now heard that the new Gran Turismo 5 DLC will also be available on the same day, this is something that we’ve spoken about as an add-on to this article.
With Battlefield 3 in mind, we wanted to update you with some further information today. We’ve already seen the new multiplayer trailer, bringing with it some impressive destruction game play, far better then we’ve seen on the Beta version. On talking about game play, according to mp1st.com, recent updates have spoken about unlocks, and in answer to many gamers’ questions about if the weaponry can be used with other factions, ‘yes” is the answer to this, once a class is in fact unlocked, its default weapon becomes available to other factions. In relation to vehicle unlock information and the use of flares, this will be the first unlock available for the jets, in response to this Fredrik Thylander has said, “Basically prove you can fly and get any points whatsoever, and we’ll give you flares.”
Gamers are also advised to check out some of the maps found to be in the Back to Karkand expansion pack, this can be seen from the recent trailer already mentioned. News is pointing to the pack costing $15 with its own title screen found to be in the main menu. Before we go we just wanted to tell you about our article this morning in which we talked about Battlefield 3 FPS simulator on video.
Let us know firstly if you have checked out the new trailer, give us your thoughts and let us know about the unlocks and maps? Will you be playing Battlefield 3 or Gran Turismo 5?
