When it comes to the new Apple iPhone that will undoubtedly be released the Internet is thriving with rumours and speculation about how it may look and what features will be contained within its shell. Some of the ones we have been reporting on include how it won’t be shown at WWDC and also NFC won’t be included in this model.
We have heard about several potential release dates much as we did with the white iPhone 4 and now we have read an entry over on iClarified that the Apple iPhone 5 (or 4GS as it’s also known) release date is being teased for June or July. We can’t see it being June purely because of it being so close to WWDC where Apple will more than likely share the future plans for the iOS and also may show off iOS 5.0.
Contrary to previous reports about there being no iPhone 5 release in June/July from AT&T there are some arguments as to why it will be released in June/July and they are that many people say it won’t be too dissimilar to the current iPhone 4 and an iPhone 4S similar to the way the 3GS was released would make sense following the release of the white iPhone 4.
Someone else speculating that this is the potential release date for a host of reasons is seekingalpha.com where their author has contributed an article with some Sherlock Holmes-style detective work into the Apple finances. Of course, Apple could be trying to put us off the scent of an iPhone coming in June to WWDC as we all know that Mr Jobs loves to surprise people, I guess we will just have to wait and see.
What do you think of this potential release date? When do you think the iPhone 4GS (5) will be released? Let us know in the comments section below.
