AirAsia Flight QZ8501 went down into the Java Sea on December 28, which was on route from Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore. And now weeks after the incident, Indonesian authorities have said most of the fuselage has been found.
The airliner was carrying 162 people on board when it crashed into the Java Sea, there is no news as of yet why the plane crashed. But, the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) Republic of Indonesia conducted its search, where the AirAsia Flight QZ8501 black box recorders have been recovered.
50 bodies have been found in the sea, if you visit both official AirAsia Facebook and Twitter accounts you will see they have recently updated with more news.
The social media accounts titled ‘AirAsia Indonesia Flight QZ8501 UPDATE (as of 14th JANUARY 2015 10:00 PM (GMT+7)’ where DVI POLRI announced two of the passengers’ found named as Christanto Leoma Hutama and Jie Stephanie Gunawan. In the report BASARNAS confirms they have recovered 50 remains where DVI POLRI has identified 38, 10 are still waiting to be identified and 2 arrived at Bhayangkara Hospital.
The official Singapore Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen Facebook page is also being updated on a regular basis, the last post said this below, which is accompanied with two photos.
