Can Google Plus work after major design refresh? This is the million-dollar question, because in the minds of the few Google Plus is not dead it may be just resting and waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce, but in others its just not going to work and will never be as powerful as other social media sites such as Facebook.
Google decided it was time to strip back and offer its G+ users a different and fresh clean look. To be fair we love the design and the way the system flows and how simple things look, in a way bigger, bolder and a more stand-outlandish statement.
If you take a look at my personal Google Plus page it looks very stunning indeed, but it is not being used as much as I would like because I get more response from the likes of Facebook, but could this change over a period of time! been long enough.
I have 44,437 followers and yes do need to update my about section as I have entered new waters so to speak in what I share, but when you add something to the likes of Facebook you get instant comments, likes and shares etc, which has far less people following you. It shows Google Plus is not really working at the moment, but DO NOT count it out just yet.
The new Google Plus look has cleaner lines with Interests at the top, then just below posts the adding posts icon is now located bottom right corner. It also focuses on communities where users can join many groups that are based on interests. There is also a cool new collections feature that stands out more than it did before for sharing videos and pictures on specific topics.
