For the last few days now people have been having problems with the Pinterest Pin It not working in June, 2015. Pinning an article / posts from websites were always very easy to share on Pinterest until a few days ago and all that happens now is the screen goes blank.
It all starts when you grab a URL from a website of an article / post you wish to share over on Pinterest, all goes well up to a certain point. You click on the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the Pinterest page and then click on ‘Pin from a website‘, soon as this has been done photos will show up that are obviously on the websites post - and this is where the issue begins.
Normally it is as simple as clicking on the ‘Pin it‘ button when you hover over the image you want to share linking to the website, but when you click on the ‘Pin it‘ button it leaves the screen black.
The whole screen stays black and you cannot do anything else, what should pop up is a little image on the left-hand side with a little description box underneath and then on the right of the picture you click a board you want to share it too.
But the screen is black and when you click the screen it turns white and then you try again and still doesnt work, seems a little strange as this has never happened before.
