Instagram carousel ads shares brand images

Just like Facebook did moving forward with its ads incentive, they have decided its time for Instagram to move ahead as well. A new feature called “Instagram carousel ads” which shares brand images has now been added.

Brand marketers can now show more images on the photo-sharing application, the new “carousel ads” feature will now allow brands etc to post many images, which users can simply scroll through by swiping across the screen. This is another moneymaking idea for the Facebook–owned Instagram, which should work well as the ads are not too intrusive.

Over on the official Instagram blog they say the idea is basically to bring “multi-page print campaigns to mobile phones”, a car company could highlight the different features in a car as well as adding a link.

The new Instagram Carousel ads feature is only available in the United States, with only a limited number of advertising partners. It is not sure if Instagram will make this feature available in other countries in the near future.

Facebook will start earning some money back after they purchased for $1 billion in 2012, with 300 million active users and new ads on Instagram money will be coming in the billions.
