Google Plus is being separated with new ‘Photos and Streams’ features, Bradley Horowitz confirmed in his G Plus post that the rumors are all true. He will be running the Google’s Photos and Streams products.
Horowitz also went on to say he is excited to be running them; he wants Google Plus users to understand that these will be positive improvements to both products and how they reach G+ users.
Is it a great move to split Google Plus apart?
Horowitz is replacing David Besbris only after a year being in the Google Plus role. The Verge believes that all will be revealed at the Google I/O in May 2015.
It has been said the main focus will surround communications, photos and the Google+ Stream; these will be the three main key areas to make Google Plus succeed. It is hard to say what is going to happen because Horowitz only mentioned ‘Photos and Streams’, nothing was said about Google Plus or the Hangouts chat service.
