Ice Bucket Challenge videos trends for ALS

The Ice Bucket Challenge has taken the social media world by storm, it does not matter where you look the challenge is being shown on YouTube as well as being mentioned all over the social media networks.

You will see many videos being posted on YouTube, as well as being shared on Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. All you need to do is search for the hashtag #IceBucketChallenge in any of these places.

Thousands of “Ice Bucket Challenge” videos have been posted on all social media platforms for the ALS Foundation charity, ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the spinal chord and the brain.

When it comes to the hottest trends the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ is on the rise very fast, from the general public to celebrities around the world are taking part in the challenge to raise money.

Ice Bucket Challenge rules are simple - If you have been challenged by someone to do the Ice Bucket Challenge you have to get a bucket of icy cold water and drench yourself with it, if you refuse to do so are asked to make a donation to the ALS charity of his or her choice.

Many stars have already accepted the challenge such as, jam band O.A.R, USC Football Coach Steve Sarkisian, NFL Quarterback Matt Ryan, even Martha Stewart accepted the #IceBucketChallenge. Donations are coming in very fast to the ALS Association, between the dates July 29 to August 11 $1.35 million has been raised, it proves the Ice Bucket Challenge is successful because the same date period last year only raised $22,000.

Even members of the Kennedy family completed the Ice Bucket Challenge with Ethel Kennedy nominating President Obama to the challenge – Will the President of the United States come forward and do the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise money for the ALS Foundation?
