New Facebook redesign breakdown of updated page

Not too sure about the world but Facebook has had a whole new redesign, the updated pages look much clearer with a few new features to make life a little easier.

We checked our own OSM Facebook page this morning and was prompted with an on-screen message saying ‘Welcome to Your Update Page’.

We actually love the new updated page, Facebook’s message also said users can now quickly see what’s new and find the tools they need to engage with their audience with ease.

If Facebook users get the message they have the option to update now, if users choose to click the ‘Do This Later’ button be aware that Facebook will automatically update your page on June 6.

The whole design has changed and we like it, the About description is now showing on a little further down on the left side, the ‘Likes’ are in a more prominent place and in bold, even the photos area is now located on the left.

Under the posts now show a much clearer reach bar, you can still pin a post to the top to make it stick, getting around is much easier than before thanks to four new tabs, these 4 tabs include Page, Activity, Insights and Settings, all can be managed here.

The Most Important Things – On the right side of the Facebook page at the top you can the important information you need to know about your page, this shows you ‘This Weeks’ page likes, post reach and unread notifications and messages.

A Simpler Page Timeline – All the posts now show in one-column only on the right, all the important content like info, about, photos etc is now on the left.

Once you have clicked the update page for fans they will all see the new look – Have you got the new Facebook Page redesign yet?
