Celebrities love tweeting on Twitter but Alec Baldwin has decided to quit Twitter to defend his yoga instructor wife Hilaria Baldwin.

Alec decided to quit Twitter after U.K.’s Daily Mail wrote it its newspaper that his wife was tweeting whilst at the funeral of Sopranos star James Gandolfini. Alec went on a Twitter rant then decided enough was enough and deactivated his Twitter account without explanation because his wife was criticised.

Before the star deleted his account he went all out to make clear how he felt towards Daily Mail reporter George Stark, some of Alec’s tweets included one where he said Stark was a “toxic little queen” and then another saying “I Am gonna f-k you up.”

Alec Baldwin also said he and his wife attended James Gandolfini’s funeral in respect to an old friend and he said “some toxic Brit writes this f-king trash” He also said that his wife did not use her phone to send tweets whilst at the funeral of a friend according to a report by, Alec then went on to say “f-k this twitter + good luck to all of you who know the truth.”

Hilaria Baldwin replied with “Here is some info… When someone tweets something at a certain time, and you retweet it later, it posts the TIME the first person tweeted.”
