Insight into Forza 4 vs. Gran Turismo 5

Do you class yourself as a petrol head? Are you a massive fan of racing video games? Just yesterday we brought you news that the new Gran Turismo 5 will be releasing on October 25th, unfortunately the same day as Battlefield 3, and we asked you guys whether you would be having both or if you had a preference over the other.

To equal the competition, we decided to take a look at what some of you think towards the new GT5 alongside Forza Motorsport 4.

Now yesterday we looked at the new GT5 and some benefits gamers can expect to get. Over 1,000 cars will be accessible, 71 tracks, a damage model included, up to 16 players, new road effects and some 26 locations to choose from. Looking here at n4g.com, its plain to see that gamers’ comments are mixed. The one comment that stands out amongst the rest when it comes to the new GT5, is it’s impressive second to none graphics along with the A1 being amazing, damage car, physics and controls are spot on, whilst Forza 4 has been criticised for its graphics, doesn’t drive as well as GT5, not having much content and missing key features.

Others have commented that they like GT5 for its weather and night conditions, whilst Forza gets the thumbs up for cars getting damaged when something is hit at an intense speed. Sound quality for the cars was also noted with one saying that GT5 cars sound like motorcycles whilst Forza 4 cars actually do sound like a real racer. Click here for a Forza 4 review roundup.

Let us know where you stand with the two in question?
