Xbox 720 Release Sooner Than Some People Think

News on when Microsoft’s new Xbox 720 console is due to be released has and is still a little confusing. Reports surfaced that with Nintendo’s new Wii U due to arrive around Easter time in 2012, this would be the ideal time for the new Xbox 720 and Sony’s new PS4 gaming consoles to arrive.

Our last report towards the end of September on the new Xbox 720, was when our writer Matt made reference to the console in fact coming in 2013 with the possible inclusion of 3D, a feature that some new devices will be keen to have. Updated news from today, is now pointing to the Xbox 720 arriving sooner than expected, this according to www.tomsguide.com is down to employees at Microsoft already working on the new console.

This news coupled with last week’s regarding a new Xbox 720 logo in Real Steel being spotted, and Microsoft employees listing the new console as part of their job duties on business networking site LinkedIn of course cannot be downplayed, in fact some employee listings have dated back to last year.

Along with these, Xbox’s Senior Creative Director Jonathan Harris is reported to be already working on the design of the next generation of entertainment, as well as Jeff Faulkner whose position is titled Xbox Next Gen Creative Director, Joe Langevin Xbox Hardware Intern at the huge technology company and so on. i would like to see xbox 720 to have graphics as good as a powerhouse pc
espescially with games like battlefield 3 i wish i could play like the pc gamers,
full capabilites, cross platform would be nice, and provide enough specifications to enable
dynamic games , where nothing scripted at all

wait they spent billions on R&D on 360 and only just started making money off it, they just spent millions on kinect and are still trying to get people to turn to it.. but yes they will just ignore all that and make a new console for 2013.  Microsoft have said they dont expect another console till 2014 but im sure your “sources” are much more reliable than something which came from microsoft themselves.
