Giovani Dos Santos Wonder Goal Is A YouTube Hit

June 27, 2021 | Tim Ollason

A subject that dominates our Twitter top 10 trending topics is Football/Soccer. If you combine that subject with YouTube viral videos and you have a winning combination. That’s exactly what’s happened as Giovani Dos Santos has scored a wonder goal and it’s become a YouTube hit!

The ex Barcelona star has struggled to fit in for the last few seasons at Spurs however if their manager Harry Redknapp was watching his performance for Mexico against the USA then things may change. The player is insanely talented and can certainly dance his way past players on the wings or play through the middle as a creative player behind the front man.

Getting onto the goal, there’s a cute little through ball played to him as he runs past the defense that appear to be standing still and he is then confronted by goalkeeper Tim Howard. Dos Santos is forced backwards but he managed to get away from the keeper and a couple of defenders only to chip the ball over everyone including the player almost on the line to score. A simply magical moment from the young Mexican star.

The video has been copied by many but the main one has more than 150,000 views since it was uploaded on Friday and it will undoubtedly get more over the next few days. As always you can view the video at the bottom of the article.

It was an amazing goal. Definitly the best this gold cup and most probably this year. It just showed how good of a player he really is. He almost single-handedly made that extremely difficult goal. Truly a star which hasnt been given the true opportunity to shine in his club.

150k views isn’t really massive though, is it.
GDS would have had more chances at Spurs if he’d shown a bit more interest in training and hadn’t gone out on the lash in London so much.
