LulzSec & Anonymous Depicted In Animated YouTube Viral Video

June 24, 2021 | Matt Tran

There has been a vast amount of news surrounding the hacking groups, Anonymous and LulzSec recently. Both have had members of their organisations arrested as officials look to bring them to justice over the hacking of big companies and governments.

A YouTube video which personifies the 2 groups by animating their logos has appeared, racking up over 90,000 hits in 3 days. LulzSec and Anonymous are made out to be the bad guy pirates, firing their cannons at government buildings, security agencies and banks. The viral video actually gives a clear picture of the general story of what has gone on, you can see it embedded below.

The video also shows how Anonymous and LulzSec shake hands and join forces to form a hacktivist group called operation AntiSec. You can also see how LulzSec defends their actions for reasons such as peacefully protesting, where rival hackers the Web Ninjas have set out to unmask them.

Earlier this week, LulzSec had 1 of their young members from the UK arrested on suspicion of serious hacking offences, with Sony being tipped as one of the possible victims. If the 19 year old does turn out to be the mastermind behind the PlayStation Network outage then it will raise question marks over 3 men in Spain arrested on similar grounds. Leave us your thoughts on the video and on the hacking groups.
