ASUS Eee Pad Transformer: June Sales Exceed All But the iPad 2

June 13, 2021 | Tim Ollason

Tablet PCs have become the ultimate gadget; they now combine power with speed and mobility which is great for those of us that are always on the move. Of course at the current time even though there’s stiff competition from all of the other Android devices Apple sits pretty at the top.

It could have a mean competitor though in the form of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer where the June sales have exceeded expectations and they have managed to sell more than any other device in the market other than the Apple iPad 2 as informed by Engadget’s Zach Honig.

The Eee Pad Transformer is a device that literally cannot decide if it’s a smartphone or a tablet PC; it’s pretty much a mixture of the two. The very same device has launched in various locations with the exception of the UK where we have to wait until August to see it as reported by Maddy Rowe.

The original source for the information is where their author has explained in figures about the actual sales of the device compared to its competitors. It’s about time that Apple had some new competition and I for one am glad that it’s ASUS because they really do make some good quality products.

What do you think of the ASUS Eee Pad? Are you surprised that this is a competitor in terms of sales to Apple’s iPad 2? Let us know in the comments section below.
