In the past we have spoken about the world of boxing either in happier times or when many of you have paid tribute to a passing star such as Sir Henry Cooper or boxer Gary Mason. Today its the turn of 24-year old Amir Khan. The Light Welterweight champion is no stranger to social networking sites such as Twitter. We have reported on his fight against Marcos Maidana last year, news of him supposedly being involved in a relationship with celebrity Katie Price and then back in April of him exiting Twitter and Facebook to concentrate on his Paul McCloskey fight. Today he’s in the spotlight again.

Back on Twitter’s site again, Khan has been in a slanging match against IBF titleholder Zab Judah. According to, the Birmingham boxer who is due to fight against Judah in July has been defending his name when Judah tweeted, “Ok Princess let’s fight! Sign up boy.”

In retaliation Khan tweeted back, “You think Prescott KO’d your punk a.. watch what I do to you mama! I’m so glad you responded now sign up boy and watch; you will hide under your bed after the way I’m going to knock your a.. out!”

To this although we cannot repeat some of it he said, “After me you will never win a world title ever again. Sign the contract and I will show you award winning dancing! Now you …. wit the best! Amir Khan is a clown, 50/50 or keep ducking,” and so it went on.
