We have read through an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, he tells us that Verizon and Motorola has now gone official with the release date of their new device. The Motorola Droid X2 has been given an early release date online along with a price.

Let’s just have a quick recap on what you get for your money, this device is a candy bar design with a 4.3-inch display at a resolution of 540×960, 512MB of RAM and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H running at 1GHz. You can read more about the specs of it from on this link.

If you check out the Verizon press release for the device you will see that it’s available online from May 19th with a two-year calling plan. Alternatively you can wait for it to hit the stores such as Best Buy and Verizon on May 26th. Keep an eye out with this device as we are expecting a docking station to be released for it too.
