Sony PSN UK Back Online: Some Have, Are Others Waiting?

May 15, 2022 | Maddy Rowe

Earlier today, we gave you news that Sony’s PlayStation Secure Network was being resumed, but in stages. As well as the service being restored, a new firmware update has been given. During the course of the day gamers have been keeping us informed on whether they are still patiently waiting for the service to get up and running, or are indeed rejoicing.

For some in America, Australia and other European countries, the service was resumed earlier today, but what about the rest of us, particularly for those in the UK?

Checking back with some of our recent comments from readers, it seems that certain parts within the UK are now re-connected. We checked out the PlayStation General Discussion Forum where UK users started to come on at approximately 6.30 pm ET with messages that the service were back up!

As well as getting some feedback on this, we would be interested to hear whether you think Sony will now come back from the outage? Have you lost the trust element with the electronics company? Do you think that their welcome back package is enough to bring you back?
