Apple iPhone 4, iPad & iPod Touch: USB/HDMI Adapter

Of the Apple devices that are on the market one of the frustrations that there’s been is the lack of a USB port and no HDMI out. Well for the Apple iPhone 4, iPad & iPod Touch (4th Gen) a USB/HDMI adapter is now available from Hanwha and we want to know your thoughts on it.

As informed by Engadget’s Sam Sheffer, this little device plugs into the charging slot on your device and then on the other end it has the ports that you bought it for. This great little device uses USB 2.0, an HDMI port and a miniHDMI port. There’s also a little switch so you can switch between USB and HDMI.

This little adapter will allow you to display your photos 1024×768 from your device onto your HDMI compatible television so you can do it all on the big screen. Similarly you can play clips from YouTube or different types of media from your iTunes application.

As for the USB connection, over at they say that it is compatible with Digital cameras that have Mass Storage Connections. They also mention that it guarantees a connection to any compatible digital camera. The switch on the device means that you will have to toggle between the two modes of HDMI and USB. The tiny device is priced at ¥5,980 which roughly equates to around $73.
