HTC Pyramid, Prime & Ignite: Specs & Pictures

March 15, 2022 | Tim Ollason

HTC have seen a lot of success recently with some high end smartphones that have done pretty well in the smartphone market. They have the backing of an Android OS which is always looking to improve upon itself as an added bonus for their handsets as well as being in with WP7.

Not only that but the build up and hype for the HTC Thunderbolt has been immense, this has been perhaps the most anticipated phone of the year so far although that may change if the iPhone 5 is going to become the real deal. Now we have seen a few more HTC handsets surfacing and they are currently modeled as the Prime, Ignite and the Pyramid.

We originally found this out through Engadget’s Chris Ziegler who has added a brief report talking about some of the features that the phones perhaps have as well as mentioning that there’s a new WP7 phone coming called Mango made by LG.

First of all let’s have a look at the Prime, as reported by it has a 3.7” touchscreen at a resolution of 480×800, 512MB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and WiFi. It also has a full slide out QWERTY keyboard which will appeal to some people.

Next up let’s have a peek at the HTC Ignite, this device is also on WP7 and contains an 800MHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera and a 3.7” touchscreen at a resolution of 480×800. This device has pretty similar specs to the Prime but without the slide out QWERTY keyboard.

Lastly the Pyramid, this bad boy has the highest specs of these devices and depending on when it gets released it could end up being a hit. It has a 4.3” Super-LCD touchscreen at a resolution of 960×540, a 1.2GHz processor, Bluetooth and WiFi. Not only that but it also has an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED flash and a 1.3 front-facing camera.

What do you think of the specs that have been talked about for these three devices? Do any of them interest you? Let us know in the comments section below.
