Pokemon Creator Alive & Well: Expresses Twitter Earthquake Feelings

March 14, 2022 | Maddy Rowe

Whilst the rest of the world still looks on in disbelief over Friday’s earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan’s North East coast, and of the huge loss of human life, there have been rumors to hit social networking sites such as Twitter.

We must start off by pointing out that Twitter, Facebook, Google and many more have all contributed to the relief efforts in their own way, but unfortunately a small amount of rumors have plighted Twitter with news of a handful of celebrity names losing their lives to the 8.9 earthquake. Today to put the record straight and put everybody’s minds at ease, these certain individuals have spoken out to say that they are in fact “alive and well.”

The first such celebrity was that of Pokemon creator “Satoshi Tajiri” who was believed to be dead on Twitter, the message read, “The creator of Pokemon died today in the #tsunami, #Japan. RIP: Satoshi Tajiri. #prayforjapan.” However, Tajiri has hit back by tweeting, “Dear Hummingbirds, what’s this nonsense about me being dead? More importantly, if you can, help Japan.”

Following on from this as www.gmanews.tv stated, the gaming company Nintendo posted an official message on Twitter which coincidentally is celebrating its 5th birthday today and said that nobody at the Nintendo site in Japan had been injured and in terms of the building, no damage had occurred.

The second star to find out she was actually presumed “dead” was that of Hello Kitty designer “Yuko Yamaguchi” who has taken to her blog and said she will be attending a cosmetics event in NYC and that her concerns rest with others in Japan and the loss of power. Again in relation to the iconic Hello Kitty stores in Sendai Japan, they too are intact.

Lastly we can confirm that actress Maria Ozawa who had not been in contact with anybody via text or phone call is safe and well. She has tweeted, “After the quake, I was okay in the camp with the team.”
