Its Official: iOS 4.3 Touches iPod, iPad, iPhone & Apple TV

When we reported on Apple’s event, Steve Jobs announced the arrival of their new iPad 2, he also brought forward the introduction of iOS 4.3.

Well as BGR report’s, Apple has just released the new iOS update after a slight delay with an issue fix last night on an iTunes update.

As reported there is a list of new features for users to get acquainted with, including Apple’s new iTunes Home Sharing. This addition gives you the ability to play content from your home PC’s iTunes on your device via WiFi.

Engadget looked into the other extras that 4.3 had to offer, commenting on the updated AirPlay which gives you control of App Store apps to collaborate audio and video content. Other features include the addition of Personal Hotspot, which was highly anticipated and now runs with iPhone 4’s GSM models as well as Verizon’s CDMA version.

So far it has been confirmed that the new iOS 4.3 free update will only be supported by iPhone 4 and 3GS, iPad, third and fourth gen iPod touches and Apple’s media streamer Apple TV. There will be no compatibility with early iPod or the iPhone 3G and older.
