Facebook is continuing to grow quickly, we have seen quite a few different things happening recently with the social network such as Vin Diesel announcing Riddick 3 is coming and we are even seeing Facebook keyboards appearing. These are all things that the massive user base will undoubtedly love.
Now we are reading on Engadget that the social networking giant is allowing movie rentals through their platform from Warner Bros. This is probably a much better way of using any of those credits that you have rather than using them on the likes of CityVille.
The first film that has received the rental status via Facebook is The Dark Night and it will cost you 30 credits equating to around $3. This could end up being a good move from Warner Bros in the long run as they could end up with some kind of buy button or rent similar films, the possibilities are endless. Check out the full press release on Engadget.
If you want to check it out for yourself then head over to the Dark Knight’s Facebook page and have a look at the article they have posted on there. There’s a really cool looking page telling the world about it so pop over and have a read.
