Jaguar Land Rover Offer First Time Social Media Site Interaction

In a day an age where internet usage is growing and more social networking sites are popping up, its no surprise that some companies are heading on to the worldwide web to maximise their brands. Here at OSM we have spoken about the advantages and pitfalls if any of using social media, along with reports on banks, restaurants, the police and airlines taking on the challenge, but today its the turn of automobile manufacturers Jaguar Land Rover MENAP.

In an interesting article from the team over at, it was reported that the luxury car manufacturers will be taking on social media to its full advantage by implementing a new marketing campaign across the Middle East and North Africa. According to our source directly above, a range of sites have been set up called the social media “suite” in order for potentially new and of course existing customers to log on and interact with the information given.

The idea behind the new advertising and marketing campaign is to make consumers aware of the brands including up to date information on the different models, blogs for each individual vehicle, latest news in the Jag Land Rover world, other campaigns, behind the scenes footage and live streaming of video content from possible events across the globe.

To date it has been reported that in terms of users logging onto social networking sites, Facebook is enjoying some 15 million across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. As well as celebrating the huge success of subscribers on Facebook, we must point out that Twitter, Flickr and YouTube have too got a barrage of information. It has been noted that with Jaguar Land Rover now giving an insight into their brand and customers being able to voice their opinions, other languages such as French and Arabic will be included into the already existing English content.
