Lenovo T Series ThinkPad: All Day Battery Life Impresses

February 22, 2022 | Maddy Rowe

Back in January when CES 2011 rocked our worlds with a multitude of new devices, Lenovo threw a collection of laptops into the fire. But now the flames have all but burnt out, Lenovo has seen fit to address its ThinkPad range of models T, L and W.

There have been reports on the updated series, but we thought we would pick on the one that impressed us and Ubergizmo the most, the ThinkPad T Series.

Why you may ask is the T so impressive? Well for a start the T420, T420s and T520 have been refreshed with a hit of new Core i5 and i7 processors, along with NVIDIA Optimus graphics. Packing GeForce 4200M GPU with 1GB of VRAM, the T420 and 420s use 14-inch displays, while the T520 is supported by a 15.6 incher.

But what really makes the T420 standout from the rest is its battery capabilities. While only suffering a slight weight gain over its slender T420s brother, the 420 can call on an impressive 30-hour battery life from its nine-cell power plant on a full charge. This will allow you all day wireless usage, which we think you will agree is pretty outstanding.

Prices will start at $909 for the T520, $779 for the T420 and $1,329, to get your hands on the T420s. As we mentioned the T Series isn’t alone in Lenovo’s new line up, its L Series and W520 have also undergone a refresh with some of their own impressive features so why not check out Engadget for the full press release.
