LG G-Slate Tablet: Intimate video action

We’ve been closely following news and speculation about the LG G-Slate, with 4G HSPA+ connectivity that will run on Android Honeycomb 3.0. This tablet, coming to T-Mobile, has got a lot of people talking and among our recent posts we took a look at release news for March, (and also confirmation of it being 3D-enabled), a video spot, and also a confirmed appearance at MWC 2011 on February 14.

The specs certainly look impressive with a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 32GB of internal storage, 8.9-inch display with 1280 x 768 resolution and the capability of 1080p HD recording. Indeed the LG G-Slate could be a real rival for other upcoming tablets such as the Motorola Xoom (the first tablet that will be released running Honeycomb), the BlackBerry PlayBook and the iPad 2.

Now we’ve had a better look at the G-Slate (referred to as the LG Optimus Pad outside of the US), with news from Vlad Savov over on Engadget, of a new video spotted on YouTube, which shows an overview of the G-Slate. Apart from a look at the slim design you can see the 3D cameras and so far from what we’ve seen, we’d have to say it’s all looking pretty good. You can view the video below this story.

If you want to find out more about the G-Slate then check out a previous Engadget article, by Chris Ziegler where you can see the official press release from T-Mobile and LG.
