Motorola Atrix 4G Release Dates: US & Canada rumors

The powerful Motorola Atrix 4G is being hotly anticipated by many and will be carried by AT&T. We’ve reported on this upcoming smartphone on numerous occasions including a look at a previous rumored release date in March, specs and earlier today reporting on a dock accessory.

The Atrix 4G is one of the new dual-core processor smartphones due to arrive and now we have a little more information on when we might expect the release date. Chris Smith over on TFTS, sourced from Mobile Syrup, gives a release date for the Atrix in Canada. A leaked screenshot of a document sent by a tipster shows a Bell release date of March 17.

Chris Smith goes on to say that Best Buy USA is supposed to be receiving the Motorola Atrix 4G around February 13 so this would fit with an actual release of the beginning of March as previously rumored although of course it would be a great surprise for many if the Atrix was released as soon as Best Buy receive it in mid-February. Meanwhile Kevin Krause over on Phandroid, sourced from Android Forums also reports on the tipoff of the Atrix arriving at Best Buy warehouses in mid-February and expects it to get to the shelves shortly afterwards.

As yet this is unofficial but as soon as we have confirmed dates we’ll let you know. Also you could head to the AT&T website for the Motorola Atrix 4G information there and you can also sign up for updates about its release. Are you waiting for the Atrix 4G and if so why the Atrix above the many other dual-core phones that will shortly be hitting the market? We’d like to hear from you so please do send us your comments.

Looks like the Atrix is the only dualcore Android phone coming to ATT in the first quarter. The new Samsung Galaxy S seems to be Verizon or Sprint. The Infuse isn't even a dualcore phone but its branded to AT&T and is part of the same family.
