Arsenal’s Fabregas Playfully Slates Vela’s Hairstyle On Twitter

Online social networking site Twitter, which was initially launched back in July 2006, is now increasing in popularity and seeing the likes of not just you and me but celebrities as well. From the world of music, TV, movie and sport, the site allows the user to tweet 140-character messages which can then be commented on by an array of followers. Today its the turn of Arsenal footballer Cesc Fabregas.

Over the last few weeks, Twitter news on OSM has been largely dominated by football with outbursts from Ryan Babel, Paul Merson, tweets of praise from Ferdinand to Arsenal’s goalscorer Samir Nasri, Sunderland’s Darren Bent on a possible Aston Villa transfer amongst others. Today as Metro reported, Fabregas has taken to Twitter to mock his team-mate Carlos Vela’s and his latest hairstyle, with not just a comment but the posting of a photo.

Over at the site he wrote, “I just asked Carlitos where his hairdresser is. Then ill make sure I never go…” Early part of today, the Arsenal captain also posted a cartoon image of the Spanish football side as characters from “The Simpsons.”

On following Arsenal’s 3-1 win against Leeds on Wednesday during the third round of the FA Cup, Fabregas tweeted, “Job done. Now is only Wigan in our heads. Great atmosphere at Elland Road. Good support from the arsenal fans, always a pleasure to see!”
