Roy Hodgson Sacked: Kenny Dalglish Takes Over – Twitter Reacts

Previously we have brought you the Twitter reaction to England winning the Ashes in Australia, now we are reporting on one of England’s most popular football clubs who certainly haven’t had it easy over the 6 months. Liverpool FC has been turned up side down and inside out, they have had new owners and they also changed manager. Previous manager Rafael Benitez did have some success at Anfield however he was axed in favor of Roy Hodgson.

Roy Hodgson must now ‘walk alone’. Hodgson lasted for just 20 games where Liverpool actually only won 7 of them, for a top club like Liverpool, that’s just not acceptable. Now Hodgson has ‘left by mutual consent’ gone, fans rejoice as Scotsman Kenny Dalglish has come in to help out until the end of the season. Twitter has been going nuts for the ex-Liverpool player who saw success as a player, and also as a manager when he took charge of Liverpool FC between 1985 and 1991; he is regarded as one of the idols at Anfield.

Some of the Tweets say things like ‘Good Luck King Kenny’. Many Twitter users are also posting the new manager profile on thisisanfield.com. The big change has happened ahead of Liverpool’s big FA meeting with Manchester United on Sunday. This will be no easy task for LFC.
