50 Cent “Sleek” Range of Wireless Headphones At CES 2011

Over the last couple of days, we have managed to bring you plenty of news, with up and coming devices making their way to us courtesy of this year’s CES show. We have seen cameras and camcorders, massive 92 and 155-inch HDTV‘s, new smartphones, tablets, docking stations and so on, and now it seems its the turn of some new trendy headphones thanks to American rapper and actor “50 Cent.”

During the Las Vegas show, the celebrity was keen to show off his latest “Sleek” range of headphones which in time will also include more audio items, which work on SMSC‘s “Kleer” wireless technology for a cleaner sound than that of Bluetooth’s wireless devices. As Mashable pointed out, at this early stage, there is no indication of a retail price and launch date.

A selling point to these new headphones is that on listening to your favorite track, you can do so with not just one pair but up to four at any one time, with the knowledge that you will have up to 10 hours battery life. If plugged in, they will work on the normal principle hence not requiring battery power, unlike as Mashable stated, the current Dr.Dre Beats headphones.

What do you make of the rapper’s new Sleek headphones? Featuring high quality radio performance and low power consumption, this really is a new product not to be missed.
