CES continues to enthral us here at OSM with so many announcements being made it can be difficult to keep up with all the excitement. In recent days we’ve posted articles about the HTC Thunderbolt coming to Verizon with some pictures ahead of CES 2011, and then about the specs. Now though we have details of a hands-on experience and it’s looking pretty impressive.
Sean Hollister over on Engadget got the chance to get his hands on the Thunderbolt in Las Vegas and describes it as “a beauty to behold.” The Thunderbolt has a 4.3-inch display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, runs on Android 2.2 and Verizon LTE made sure it reached high performances speed-wise. The hardware also received some positive comments with vivid colors from the Super LCD screen and a responsive touch panel noted.
If you want to see more of this hands-on experience with the HTC Thunderbolt head to the Engadget link above to see plenty of photos and also a video. There’s also more about the device over on Slashgear where Chris Davies tells us it was previously known as the HTC Mecha. Camera-wise the Thunderbolt has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing and packs an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.
There appears to be a lot to admire about this new LTE phone but we’d like to know your thoughts about the Thunderbolt so why not send us your comments.
