Yesterday at CES 2011 some rather intriguing posters were spotted in Las Vegas teasing a new Sony handset which many felt could be the Sony Ericsson Anzu, which in November was referred to as being a very slim design.
Engadget reported on this and noted that it looked like a very appealing phone and now it seems today more news has surfaced reported from Chris Ziegler over on Engadget, sourced from Gagadget. The Russian site has revealed some rather lovely photos of a phone which could well be the one teased on the posters at CES. You can also see a video below this story.
The phone is set to be called the Xperia Arc but Engadget points out that it looks like the phone previously known as the Anzu. With a 4.2-inch display, a 1GHz Qualcomm processor and running on Android Gingerbread this is an extremely impressive design with the thinnest point being only 8.7mm. Chris Davies over on Android Community tells us a little more about the Xperia Arc and says it’s due for release this quarter.
