COD Black Ops: Treyarch Tweet “Movement Speed” Fixed

First person, and at times controversial shooter game Call of Duty: Black Ops which was launched on November 9 2010 has proved to be a smash hit worldwide. The game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision is available on gaming platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PS3, Xbox, Wii and Nintendo DS, and whilst for many of you, your gaming experience as been running smoothly since its debut, some of you may have been slightly frustrated with the subsequent lack of movement speed on platforms PS3 and Xbox 360 when playing online.

Good news is on its way today as Treyarch’s Community Manager has assured you, the fans, that the glitch has now been fixed. On turning to online social networking site Twitter, Josh Olin tweeted, “The movement speed decrease on #CODBlackOps 360 & PS3 was unintentional, now fixed. Restart your games and all will be normal.”

Following on from this, as reported, David Vonderhaar, Multiplayer Designer said, “Be sure your version number says and if not reboot again.”

Black Ops within 24 hours of release, became the most popular game of 2010 selling a staggering 7 million copies breaking the original record of its predecessor Modern Warfare 2.
