Classic Doctor Who YouTube Channel Launches: BBC Help

Doctor Who, the British science-fiction TV programme that has been on our screens for many years now, has seen a number of Timelords (Doctors) go through many time and space adventures in his machine the “Tardis.”

Whatever our age, Doctor Who will no doubt give us many memories whether it was the first doctor back in 1963 William Hartnell or in 1974 when we saw Tom Baker, through to the present day of David Tennant and Matt Smith. For those of you who are avid fans of the longest running science fiction show in the world, will be pleased to know that with the help of BBC Worldwide, YouTube have now announced their new dedicated Doctor Who channel.

As reported, the new “Classic Doctor Who” channel which launched today, will include many clips from past episodes including the very first in 1963, as well as sneaky previews for what may be coming up in future DVD releases. It is hoped that as well as attracting the older fan of the much loved Doctor, the new channel will entice the younger generation. On Christmas Day with our recent Matt Smith and singing star Katherine Jenkins, the programme managed to pull in a staggering 10.3 million viewings.

Tell us do you consider yourself the Doctor’s number one fan? If so, which episode and Doctor is your favorite? Let us know.
