LG Optimus 2X: January 2011 Unveiled In Europe

Just a week ago we gave you an update on LG’s Optimus 2X along with a list of specifications which we will refresh you on. Rumor has it, that in the US, T-Mobile customers will be able to enjoy LG’s offering March 2011. So what about the rest of us? As reported, if today’s news is anything to go on, customers in Europe will see the handset even earlier, in fact January 2011.

Along with running on a dual-core Tegra 2 processor at 1GHz, the handset originally called the “Star” will incorporate a 4-inch WVGA display, expandable memory from 8GB to 32GB, 8 megapixel camera along with a 1.3 megapixel unit positioned at the front for face to face calls.

As well as this, the guys over at Engadget have spoken about the introduction of 15 ringtones and 10 pieces of music from the great film composer “Ennio Morricone,” which will automatically be pre-installed on the LG. Engineers have dedicated a lot of their time enhancing sound quality to give you the very best from your handset.
