Chris Brown Tweets Completion Of Domestic Violence Course

Chris Brown, 21-year old American pop recording artist and actor has taken to online social networking site Twitter. The site which gives celebrities the chance to tweet messages to their fans, announce events or put their side of the story across is growing in user numbers by the day. It certainly looks that the star who has had his fair share of bad publicity during the last year and a half, is keen to air his feelings openly.

Back in March 2009, Brown found himself in the media spotlight for the wrong reasons. He was arrested and charged with felony assault of his then pop star girlfriend “Rhianna.” Subsequently, Brown’s TV commercial ads were stopped and his music withdrawn from radio stations. In August he was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counselling and six months of community service.

Today as reported, Brown was happy to tweet that he had finished the 52-week domestic violence course with a picture of him posing with the end certificate. He said, “I’m done with class. I have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class. Boyz run from there (sic) mistakes. Men learn from them!!!”

Praise for Brown’s attendance and willingness to complete the course has come from L.A. Superior Court Judge, “Patricia Schnegg,” who according to had warned him that if he did not participate in the 52-week course and realise his mistakes, would no doubt be heading to jail.
