Twitter Shop Arriving In London?

For online social networking site Twitter, not only is it growing in user numbers by the day, news has been announced that it will be expanding it’s offices with a new base either in London UK or Dublin Ireland. In a meeting that took place last Thursday at 10 Downing Street London, Prime Minister David Cameron and Mayor Boris Johnson met up with the big guys at Twitter to discuss future plans.

The reasoning behind choosing the two capitals can only be put down to London and it’s prime location giving a possible smaller but yet bustling office in the heart of everything. As reported, Dublin on the other hand is a viable option because of the “low corporate tax rate.”

In light of today’s news, it appears that PM Cameron has changed his initial views on the networking site, as in 2009 Britain’s top man vowed he would never use the site. As T3 stated, Cameron said, “The trouble with Twitter, the instantness of it – too many twits might make a twat.”

So at this present time, we will have to see what the big guns decide? London or Dublin? Let us know where you think they should position the HQ offices.
